Julian McMahon, actor of "Fantastic Four" and "Charmed," dies

MEXICO CITY.- Julian McMahon , recognized for his role as Dr. Doomen in “Fantastic Four” (2000) and his leading roles in the series “Charmed” and “FBI: Most Wanted” , died on July 2 after a private battle with cancer.

The news was announced by his wife, Kelly McMahon , through an emotional statement shared with Deadline:

“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work and his fans. His greatest wish was to bring joy to as many lives as possible. We ask for support at this time so our family can grieve in privacy. And we hope that all those to whom Julian brought joy continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories.”

Julian McMahon 's death shocked thousands of fans who were quick to honor the actor in his role as a Marvel villain, as well as in "Charmed," "Nip Tuck," and "FBI: Most Wanted."
